This unprecedented collaboration between the luxury brand and the Samario hotel pays tribute to the more than 30 species of butterflies endemic to the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, and it is especially inspired by the Rhodopteron Morpho or the pearly blue butterfly, which according to researchers is only found in this corner of the planet.

Starting with the Butterfly Route, the public will be able to enjoy the destination's bounties and a collection of Mario Hernandez pieces created exclusively for the occasion, as well as Ron Viejo de Caldas cocktails and a special menu by the hotel's executive chef Alirio Rodriguez, all through a guided experience.

"It will be an unforgettable opportunity in a destination that has everything to make travelers fall in love. We are pleased to form this alliance with such prestigious brands as Mario Hernandez and Ron Viejo de Caldas, to offer our guests an unprecedented stay," added Mario Mata, Director of Marketing and Sales of the Santa Marta Marriott Resort Playa Dormida.

This alliance between the hotel, Ron Viejo de Caldas and Mario Hernandez is a team effort to build a country and bet on creativity", said Mario Hernandez.

Those who dare to experience the Butterfly Route will stay in a room decorated by Mario Hernandez, with butterflies on the walls, mirrors and balcony, looms alluding to the theme, an exhibition of blue morpho accompanied by a QR code with information about this species, amenities and surprise gifts.

In addition, guests will be able to see first-hand the metamorphosis of this species, since in the room guests will find a box with a sphere of natural fibers, and inside the sphere a pupa. The box will contain information about the butterfly to be born, the release legend and care instructions.

Beyond the room, participants will identify their reserved spaces on the beach, the restaurant, the pool and the spa, as they will find the exclusive design of Mario Hernandez, who even designed a set of tableware especially for the experience.

Other services included in the Butterfly Route are a treatment at the hotel's Seishua Spa, access to the Jacuzzi at sunset and a cocktail class with an expert from Ron Viejo de Caldas.
